Hello QC Community!
It's been quiet around here so far this month, and I hope *fingers-crossed* that it's just because you are all busy working on your various projects. Since there are no queries to critique right now, and #NaNoWriMo is happening, how about we do a check-in for the month to share what we're all working on?
Who's participating in #NaNoWriMo this year, and how are your word counts coming along?
Working on editing? How are you feeling about the revisions you're making?
Not in NaNo, but still drafting? What excites you most about your current project?
Querying? What are you working on to keep you distracted while you wait?
What are you struggling with? What's currently inspiring you? Tell us about whatever part of your writing journey you want to share.
As many of you know my debut novel EREBUS DAWNING comes out in 2020 with Aethon Books. I've been up to my eyeballs in edits, so I haven't been active on here lately... But if you ever need me specifically, tag me in, and I'll come running! My edits have been pretty difficult and NaNo has been helpful to keep me on track, so I'm rebelling this year. I'm actually almost done with the typical NaNo goal, but I'm hoping to double it and get through the bulk of my edits by the end of the month, then do some revisions to the front end that I missed and have a couple peeps read to make sure I accomplished what I set out to do. Volunteers? LOL! (Just kidding.... Not kidding... Just kidding...)
Anyway... Hope everyone else's NaNo is going well! And even if it's not up to expectations, remember, whatever you get on the page is still something that you didn't have there before!
