Honestly?!!! How am I supposed to do that? I’m no one. I’m a wife and mother who works in a grocery store. I was looking for a Bible journal, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. So then I got the idea that if I couldn’t find the journal I was looking for, I would make one of my own. Then I thought, I could market this to help other Christians. And so my journey began. But now? :(

Thank you! I’m priestly making a Facebook page to help promote it. Then they’ll see I have a big audience and hopefully be interested. :)
You only have to "prove" yourself as the qualified writer of a nonfiction work if you plan to pitch it to an agent and sell traditionally through a publisher. They have to know they will be able to sell it, which means their client must have expertise in the field and an audience. In addition, I wouldn't necessarily call a journal a nonfiction book; it's more of a coffee-table book, or its own category altogether. Those pitch differently and you would need to do more research therein to know if they expect you to be qualified in a certain way.
But self-publishing is very inexpensive (if you do Print-on-Demand through Amazon in a certain way, and do all the design work yourself, the actual publishing will only cost $0 - but you can also get design work done on Fiverr for very cheap). No one cares who you are in the self-published field, and if your book truly is a rare kind that people will search for and want, you'll make sales.
